We recently had Danielle out to do a Home
Maintenance "Check-Up" -- the peace of mind we got was worth
more than the cost of the inspection. She uncovered a few
problems we could fix easily now that would have been
expensive repairs if they hadn't been caught early (insect and
drainage pipe issue). She also helped us sort out the "must
do" projects vs the "can wait awhile" projects, with helpful
suggestions for things we could do ourselves. My partner and I
both felt so much more confident and good about our home
afterward. Thank you , Danielle!

I learned so much from the “Basic Plumbing” and the “Basic
Carpentry” classes I attended!! The best part of each class,
for me, was the hands-on experience of actually taking apart
faucets and putting them back together again and getting the
tactile experience of working with tools and wood.
Your classes were fun and informative, and, they gave me the
needed confidence to tackle my own home projects--like fixing
the upstairs bathroom faucet that, formerly, was making a
weird screaming sound, and building a handy-dandy wooden ramp
for my older dog to use to get into the car.
Thank you for your expertise, your classes, AND my newly-found
confidence!!

Jan. 19-20, 2008 I attended the JOAT basic electrical
workshop, and I couldn't be happier with the results. There
was a ton of hands on experience, loads of personal attention
and great attention paid to safety and code. I highly
recommend it to anyone...and have already to several of my
friends. The instructor, Cheri, is a licensed electrical
contractor, was very patient with us novices, and did a
thorough job of teaching us how to do several common,
practical wiring projects that would come up in any household.
I came right home and installed electrical outlets in my
house!
